Klein is now in one group, together with Trek, Lemond and Gary Fisher, they use the same technology as Trek, so basically you can say that Klein is Trek with different color scheme and maybe geometry.

Klein is now in one group, together with Trek, Lemond and Gary Fisher, they use the same technology as Trek, so basically you can say that Klein is Trek with different color scheme and maybe geometry.


Much in the same way as Rolls Royce are actually BMWs and Bentleys are VWs. The designs are completely different.

all you have to do is look at the welds to know that a Klein is not a Trek, even if the profits go to the same place.

Probably yes, but still very similar, like VW Phaeton and Bentley Flying Spur - as you mentioned - same things under body, air suspension, engine, overall construction and made in the same plant in Germany, but still way different. I mean technology, materials, and engineers in Klein are basiclly the same as in Treks. It's not completely different then.
