Love it! Every little detail looks perfect. Just one minor concern, the rear brake's mounting bolt is too long, you could cut it and mount it with a nice nickel plated nut.

Love it, not 100% convinced on the wheels but spectacular job anyway.

Very well done and impressive overall weight given that you began with 1800 gram frame. Bravo.

For a more contemporary look and less weight - a Berk SLR saddle - 7.55kg

A photographer friend offered to shoot the two Cinelli's together - was never going to say no to that. Both early 70's size 57cm Speciale Corsas finished in classic Cinelli silver - one built up with the best components of 1972 and the other built up with the best of today. This is a phone shot doing the set up - 'proper' pics to follow.

good call - and very good spotting - in the rush to the finish line I had forgotten about that detail - will get onto it

Thanks PP - the frame was certainly heavy - but the 850g fork took heavy to another level! The repaint took 200g off the original frame weight - that was an unexpected bonus. I didn't quite reach my target to get down to 7500g without resorting to exotic parts.

The Cinelli SC frame handling has been described by some as near faultless. My hope was to take this 'perfect frame' and build a bike that would allow it to perform to its full potential by choosing parts that were as light as possible but also matched the frame visually. There were a couple of hard decisions along the way

The 3TTT Pro Ti stem saved over 150g over a more typical Cinelli 1A alloy stem - although a polished 1A would look brilliant. The 3TTT stem is the nicest of the light Ti quill stem options IMO - certainly much nicer than the Grammo. The holy grail would be a SR Royal super light alloy stem - stunning and quite light but seem to be extremely rare.

The wheels were a hard call as a traditional looking low-profile / high spoke count wheel - such as a set of Hyperons or Enve 25's - would be a perfect match. In the end I chose to use the Lightweights as I am a bigger guy that needs a strong wheelset and gambled that the gumwall tires would make the wheels match the bike.
I did buy a set of Mavic GP4 rims in the process and may still build them into a wheelset for this bike.

Man, I love this bike. I think the wheel and tire choice is excellent. I really like low-profile carbon wheels on small diameter tubed bikes.

Great job.
