Hello, just joined a couple days ago so figured I'd drop a few pics of my bike.

Bianchi Intenso Veloce (8.4kg, with pedals)
Selle Italia SLR Kit Carbonio Flow saddle
Deda Superleggero seatpost
Vittoria Pave CG Open tyres
Shimano 6700 pedals

Everything else is stock but will be upgraded to Campagnolo Athena at the end of April, along with some handbuilt wheels for summer use. That should drop the weight to around 7.7kg.

Except 1 gear more Athena won't improove anything … . "old" 2011-2014 Chorus is better deal IMO. UltraShift & Ultra torque crank change a lot, incl weight .

I can be wrong, and have plenty of examples for that ;)

>welcome!

Even swapping the wheels would drop 300 grs almost immediately. The Racing Corsa is in fact the 2013 Fulcrum Racing 7, so, weighs around 1935 grams.. :)

Get Cheapo Zondas.
Then you can upgrade on the crankset-derailleurs. Changing the ergopower or the calipers would not save you a lot of weight, imho.

The crankset is FSA mega exo omega. It weighs about 1kg, so swapping that out is going to drop another 200+g.

I considered going Chorus, but I like new stuff and new Chorus looks like someone's inbred cousin. It's also out of my price bracket I'm afraid.

You should be able to find some 2014 Chorus quite cheap at Wiggle and the likes.
Chorus is a really big lift compared to Athena and Veloce which is pretty much the same groupset, just one more gear.
