How's the 1x set up treating you? 42x11/28 ok? I JUST finished my cross build and am still using a 46/36 up front but would be really pleased if I could change that for a 1x and maintain my 11x28 in the back. Has the chain popped off yet?

Not dropped the chain yet and I have moved the spring on the rd to the higher tension hole. The single ring works fine for me, I come from a background of riding single speeds so having 11 gears is a bit of a luxury + I live in a reasonably flat part of the world so no mountain climbs etc.
I put 30c challenge slicks on for general summer road miles. According to a gear inch calculator 42-11 at 100rpm tops out at 30ish mph which is plenty fast enough for me, I don't race road just social miles with smiles
Thank you everyone else for the compliments

How's the front disc, rear canti combo working out? Any chance you race sscx? Thinking about doing the same.

@rheosiba
I use the All City as my winter/rain bike, most of it's life is spent with Gator Skins and full length mudguards. The front disc is great for me in all weathers and inspires confidence.
I use the Felt for road and single track/bridle ways, I can't recommend the Shimano hydro brakes enough, they are so good. I changed to the XTR calipers purely for weight rather than any performance gain as such. The XTR calipers inc pads, fittings etc saved 35-40g an end.
