Almost 6 Months of wait. But it was worth it.
Purchase the whole bike, sold all the parts. then rebuild....Have to order a complete bike. Frameset not available during time of order and a lot more expensive.
Image
Then will strip and sell all parts. Internal cable routing for new frames seems to be easier now. No need to insert plastic noodles
Image
Direct mount brakes for this frame. No choice but to use the ultegra brakes. So must do debadge as im using my old campy 10 spd Record
Image
Almost done. Geometry and measurements are identical to the old aeroad

I very almost took the plunge on the Aeroad in the same colour. I too had the DM brakes Campy problem. There are other options though...

EE Cycleworks make some DM brakes, I've just put some on my new bike. They are lovely!

Bontrager and The Hive (Colnago branded) also make DM brakes. So technically you don't have to stick with the Ultegras.

Beautiful bike though!

Beautiful!! Looks even hotter than the previous Aeroad. I'm surprised you didn't go for the one-piece handlebar and stem.

Great!!
The rear brake cable seems a little too short to me.
Compare to this:

Canyon has really stepped up with this frameset.

Geometry, aesthetic, performance... it gots the whole package and at the best price you can expect for such quality.

Simply stunning. I would die waiting 6 months damn

Im loving the colour scheme of the one above. How do stem spacers work with these? Does it come with a variety of proprietary spacers?

Saddle looks a little tilted back, if that your preferred orientation?

Thanks for the compliments...

@MartyWild
EEBrakes and Bontrager might not work because the brakes's cable stop might hit the rear part of the seattube.
Stem spacers are just normal round 11/4", the headset cap was made that way to compliment the profile of the aero frame. Similar to Specs Venge headset cap. But you can use any normal 11/4" cap and spacers. You can also use canyon ultimate cf's low profile headset cap if you prefer to lower the stem even more.

@Kkibbler
Wanted the one piece bar and stem, but i'm using 39 c-c bars. with 130mm stem. Canyon does not have the 39 c-c on a 130mm stem.
Yup, that's my preferred saddle tilt.

@RoelW
Sharp eyes. Rear brake cable is indeed a little short. But no issues. All the parts including the cable came from my old aeroad. Wanted to test first if everything fits well before i replace the Gore Cable. Since gore cable are harder to find lately.

Lovely bike, did you weigh the frame? What size is it?
