Colnago Extreme C

My original Extreme C was stolen after I had hardly ridden it.
So, was looking for a replacement over the years. Finally found one in my size (57cm) that I liked. Bought it off a fellow WW (Mockenrue). The frame weighed 1,140g and the forks 375g.
Extralite stem; Giant carbon bars; Extralite crankset (the rings weighed 96g); Extralite headset; Ultegra drivetrain; Far and Near brakes; Bontrager seatpost; Toupe saddle.
Weight: with the Edge wheels 6,240g; with the Mavic CCU's 6,460g. Haven't ridden it yet because of the shite weather.
Pleased with the look and weights.

Excellent! I am glad you had the patience after that bad experience. I am sure it was well worth the weight. Beautiful build.

In my LBS I weighed the latest C60, basically the same size as my Extreme C; was surprised that the 'C' came out just under 200g lighter than the C60. 1,140g for the 'C' and 1,310g for the C60. I also have an Extralite headset which weighs very little (approx 60g), an internal headset will likely weigh less, but I would say the difference is not great.
Of course, if stiffness is the main criteria, I would assume the C60 is much stiffer.

Looks very good, compliments!

One of my favorite frames in one of my favorite color schemes. A classic. Beautiful.

I've tried different seatposts and prefer this one. I'm not a big fan of the Colnago seatpost. At least with the 27.2 the post doesn't become redundant; the Nago's 28.0 so it has a 'niche'.
PSM. What post was you thinking of? My question's not rhetorical, I'm genuinely interested.
