Ok, old fork died by the accident. Got my hand on a pretty cheap new one - unfortunatly it comes with the wrong color.
Remember, the old one is 360 Gram:
By now:
Lost circa 12 Gram of paint and already hate the work...

Mr. Wilkinson an me did a great job, until we lost about 19 Gram of this crazy heavy CD paint.
And then, yeah, congratulations.
And then, yeah, congratulations.
I feel your pain.
I'm stripping my frameset right now (also a white one), but not using blades, only sandpaper.
It's taking forever.... (The fork is the easy part) !!
I want to see what type of finish you'll choose, and the result.
Cheers,
Louis

stripping a frame is terrible work. after doing so, i had to send the frame to those guys:
http://www.carbon-klinik.de/carbon-klin ... linik.html
i destroyed some of the primary fibres!
however: nice bike, extremely consistent. deserves a valuable fork.

Oh that doesn't look good! Is that a crack in the carbon caused by the razor blade?
I had some good results with a Dremel sandpaper attachment on shift levers (much faster than doing it by hand) but you have to be really careful with frames and forks as they have some very thin sections with little room for error that might make hand sanding a slower, but safer option.
The old bike looked pretty sweet. Hope you are doing better now!

It's a crack in at least 4 layers. Won't use this fork and ordered a new one, in original colour, no Weightweenie stuff.
Frame on scale:
Headset with original FSA bearings, Tune Topcap, Extralite expander:
Cannondale seatclamp, changed the bolt to Ti, saved 1,2 gram:

I'm going to stay with some old parts for the moment, today we have 120 mm 3T ARX Team steam and 42 cm 3T Ergosum Pro bar. Changed the bolts to black Ti and cleaned the bar logos with acetone.

Seems like DHL ist some kind of lazy a the moment, the final parcels are still in their depots and not at my home.
So, for the moment let's go on with the seatzone:
Selle Italia Carbonio
Prolight seatpost, started at this weight
Then cut off about 9 cm
Changed the original upper parts from
to POP-Yokes and Ti-Bolts plus concave Syntace Washers
to get here:

Great build diary! Thanks for the detailed photos.
Are you planning any major changes from the previous build list?

Yeah!
There is only one crankset, that fits to a Cannondale:
Sold the old Red Black Groupset and bought a new one, 11-speed - welcome to a new age!
But I will stay with Ultegra Cassette and Dura-Ace Chain:
minus
For the moment: 4152,9

All parts are together - let's build this thing!
Mavic Ksyrium SLR 2015 - cleaned all stickers and the logos from the tires. Will use them until our streets a free from grit.
Noname skewers, some kind like Tune. But think they sent me the MTB-Version, Ti-Axles are a bit to long...
Changed from Look Keo Blade to Look Keo 2 Max because of this:
Dont't like the Sram cables, they are silver. So, I choosed Jagwire Teflon and some black endcaps:
minus
Sram Chaincatcher
And the classic DEDA tape:
minus
