Great job putting it together. The bike looks very sharp. One thing I didn't understand: did the fork have a crack in it, or did you cause the crack by stripping the paint?

@FIJIGabe: Yes, the crack caused by the stripping. First I used the Wilkinson blades, but they to flexibel and it was really hard to get off the paint. Then I found some stiffer and more durable blades in the drugstore, normally to use for cleaning hotplates. But they were to stiff, to aggressive to the carbon. You can see the result in the picture.
@JasperGr: Shifting is amazing - but in the front not really better than the old Red before, maybe a bit smoother. I like the Stronglight CT2, stiff, nice optic, not that expensive - but not really durable either. Seems, that the rear derailleur shifts faster than before.
Did the first ride on monday and it was great!

Beautiful!! I actually wish I'd gone for a 'dale rather than a Bianchi for my next build. Congrats on such a superb bike.
I'm diggin the black and white theme. I will copy this once I feel like taking a break on my blacked out set up
