Hi all,

Starting a journal of my mini-winter project, a replacement frameset + a few other parts, based on replacing my existing 56cm Cannonade Six 6:

Sad to be moving on from this frame, which treated me well. I purchased the bike new and upgraded nearly every part (only stem and front derailleur remain).

Did you used the rotor bearing to get bb30 or is it just a bb86?

The Cannondale Six 6 frame is 2009 (threaded BB). I have a GXP crank installed currently, which will transfer over to the new frame once I receive my press fit BB in the mail.

As a small update, I was able to get the existing BB (for Shimano cranks) out. Used a bb tool and a hammer - had to *really* use force to get that sucker out.

The carbon aero bar has arrived. Finding it extremely difficult to route the cables though the bar...

I have ordered a cheap hanging scale - so at least I'll be able to post the final build weight.

What saddle is that? EBay knock-off of the old Toupe S-Works?

Aliexpress - it was one of those saddles that could be branded with any odd logo you'd want. I opted for none. I was looking for a carbon saddle that had just a bit of padding or leather. It remains to be seen whether I can deal with the lack of padding. Price was $USD80, if I recall correctly.

A couple of changes: Force 22 groupset and new carbon-cycle 40mm clinchers.

Slightly heavier now ~15.25-3lbs, but haven't done a proper weigh-in.
