The 2015 SR FD comes with an in-line barrel adjuster which I'm assuming you didn't use as I don't see it in your photo. Was it any more difficult to adjust and fine tune the 2015 FD than the prior model?

I did not include a barrel adjuster in this build. I think barrel adjusters are a great idea. Some of the coolest adjusters take a 4mm housing and I used the 5mm Powercordz Prime housing which I like. I used the Powercordz 5mm to 4mm adapter at the shift lever. I often don't include a barrel adjuster on my own bikes, I do all my own bike maintenance. I often do include one if I am building a bike that someone else might be riding.

I have read that the 2015 FD is a little more sensitive to cable tension, that might be the case. On this build I ended up with good cable tension on the first try. I have a few other bikes with 2015 SR and sometimes I have needed to adjust it and it is easier if you have a barrel adjuster.

What is your inseam if you don't mind that I ask? I'm trying to visualize how much seatpost will be exposed if I picked up this frame.

I'm intrigued about your 11-29 hybrid cassette. Did you buy 2 and just mix them up? What sizes are the rest of the cogs?

I think campy has rather specific cogs. Like the 15t cog in a 12-23 cluster and a 15t in a 11-27 cluster are quite different. They might be labelled 15A, 15B or 15C. That's what I got from this thread anyway: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=127591

And if you look at campy's docs on their cassettes you'll see the lettering too but who really knows what they're for? Shift timing?

Great build - never really understood the Rca but your bike is very nicely considered and put together. Be interested in seeing how you go without the inline adjust on the FD - by all accounts the 2015 Campy FD requires a much more precise tuning.
Love the components - the seatpost sest off the frame very well.
If you feel inclined to do a midlife upgrade the new version of the Clavicula would look superb and save you a few more grams - if it ever appears
Enjoy

I still have the 2013 frameset, they are built up with different chainrings, compact vs standard, one has 25mm gatorskin tires, most have 22mm gatorskins.

Any differences, beyond the cosmetic, between the 2013 and 2015 iterations?

Sedluk has been providing me with these unrealistic Cervelo aspirations for way too long now.

Gorgeous build of course. I'm sure it rides like a dream!
