Nice, an early Ottrott as well, digging the finish on the Seatube, normally used to seeing a polished/brushed look.

You should be able to pull the serial stamped on the bottom Bracket, then check out the paceline forum, there is a serial decoder there to determine what year it was built.

Beautiful! And excellent choice of components to compliment the frame.
What year is the frame?
Such a sad and misguided waste of resources when the industry shuts down talent and passion like Ben has.
Personally, I'd like bludgeon every suit at the 'Divine Cycling Group' with a Ti downtube and then conduct a UCI Crash Safety Test on various appendages with a bladed MadFiber spoke.
Hoping for a comeback http://benserotta.com/

Thank you. :beerchug:

Don't know about the year.

As herb told me a few postings before it is an early ottrott. Serial number begins with CLI. The ST seatstays were introduced in 2002, i think the frame could be from 2003 or 2004.

I've never owned a Serotta myself but I grew from MTB to reluctant road racer during the age when Serotta was king in New York and much of the east coast. In fact, the roads of upstate NY are probably the only reason why I deviated from MTB and realized road biking could be fun too. Special thanks to Cornell, Ithaca, and all those damn 18% hills. Seeing a Serotta pass by on the roads was special then, and giving the circumstances, even more special now.
Fly the flag proud!

Lovely (although I'm not so sold on the chainset). Did 90 miles on my Ottrott ARO today and felt as fresh when I finished as when I started. Ottrott's rule and that paint is rude!
