So, some of you may know the stock seat clamp only accepts round seat rails. For a price Cervelo offers another clamp that accepts oval and square rails. This swap allowed me to save serious grams with the Selle Italia.

I swapped out the cage bolts for plastic ones.

I ordered the veloflyte and slam that stem dust caps (comparison sake).

I'm ready to cut the fork once the final stem angle and length is decided.

The Tririg brakes will be installed at the same time.

As she sits, 7.71 kg! She's a little too hefty for me. I estimate the brake and headset diet will bring her down an estimated 500 grams.

Stock vs plastic bottle cage bolts. Marginal gains add up! :)

Are you going to run aero cages and bottels? Or just plain round ones?

Only if I can mount two and they can store 20 oz or more of fluid. The bike is one of two daily riders. It must stay functional.

I'm fitting a normal bottle behind the saddle and an aero one (specialized virtue) on the frame

That's an idea. I did that on my TT02.

It does! Do you have a pic with the seat bottle inserted?
