Well, when I was shopping for my last bike two years ago I narrowed it down to the BMC SLR01, Focus Izalco Team, and the Cervelo S5. I ended up up buying the SLR01 (see link below). It's been an amazing bike however I still have the itch for Aero. A few weeks ago my LBS dropped the price of this S5 (see below) to $2800. I couldn't resist.

Here she is the day I paid for her. Bone stock.

Stick around for her transformation.

Yes. I swapped the 172.5 to 170. How is it interesting?

Lovely bike right there!

Really interested in the handlebars. Saw them on velobuild. Would love to hear what you think.
Do you know if they ship to the EU?

See below from their site about their shipping policy.

All in all I like the bar for what I paid ($66 USD). The UD carbon looks nice, the shape is definitely aero, the bare middle feels nice in your hands, the internal routing setup was a breeze, the drop shape feels nice, and it feels plenty light.

The only concern I have is where the cables enter at the top of the bar. They enter just south of my Ultegra hoods. Due to this location they present an awkward uncontoured surface. Some people may not like this. If you were to put some gel there it would be fine. I chose to leave it as is.

Don't you have an SLR01 as well? I think the SLR01 does better on seated climbing. I would agree with you out of the saddle.

The SLR01 was sold last year and was replaced by 2012 R5 VWD but
Unfortunately sold it as well this past summer, I like the S5 better than the
R5. Im a heavy set guy 197lbs and always stay seated on climbs with the S5.
