Stefano wrote:Love the bike! One critique though-- are those chainrings installed correctly? To my eye, it looks like they are rotated 36 degrees out of phase, which might affect shifting. I know that the Sram and specialized spiders are different what with the hidden bolt setup, but Sram does offer rings with the standard configuration crank pin.

Other than that, gorgeous.

Good catch. They actually look like they need to be rotated 135° counter clockwise and the chainring pin needs to be switched 180° from its current location so it is located behind the crank arm.

That's a beauty esp the pedal colors. It reminds me of a look from far.

Reason: deleted the quote for you. It wasn't needed to quote all of the pics and text for the remark you made, at least, in my eyes. Thanks

The Garmin out-front mount looked a bit smoother then the Sram Quickview I feel. Why the change?

If you're keeping the stem, get one from Tillquist, he's got a Specialized version: www.edge-mount.bike

Great bike and weight

Interesting, if you add up the pedals, there is not much weight lost.

Maybe he works for a manufacturer, they do that a lot [Marketing weights that are unrealistic].

Wonder if you know about bikes or math. Just don't act smart .

Simple calculation:

Bike weight without pedals and cages before wheel and saddle change was 6.13 kgs. 6.37 kgs with Look Keo Blade version 1 Carbon Titanium pedal and two Zipp cages. 6370g - 6130g = 240g. The pedals are 101g each and cage is 19.5g each. So 240g - 202g - 39g = -1g, +/- 1g accuracy. The Park Tool scale was working perfectly!
