Hi, I'm from Taiwan, Just bought the Hongfu FM079 disk road frame,
and build myself, total weight for this bike are about 7.9kg, case of the heavy shimano wheel-set.
this wheelset is for Cyclocross originally, fit from 23c-32c tire.
Considering about the Farsport 50mm Carbon rim now. the final weight might be around 7. I guess.
I think 7 will be a good number for disk road Bike.
still working in losing the weight and also the paint, or stickers.

the bike looks really good with the red bits on the black frame :-)
I would put red outer cables, spacers and maybe sram red shifters
I really like the look of those chiniese frames...

That's a hot looking bike!

Aren't the disc rotors a little big for a roadbike? 180mm at the rear is huge. :)

The general appearance of the bike is nice. One small critique is with the alignment of your saddle (it should be level, not at such a steep angle as it's in now).

Looks quite level to me in the third pic. Think it's the bike not being level in the first two pics that makes the saddle look steep.

Excellent bike!
As other members said: the saddle is pointing downwards and the shifters are also mounted very low on your handlebar.
Why do you have a larger rotor at the rear wheel? I would expect otherwise as you need more stopping power on you front wheel. all motorbikes have larger rotors on the front wheels as on the rear wheels.

I've had my eye on this frame for quite some time. Well done on the red highlights.

Is the frame weight for the bare frame without headset?

Nothing wrong with a slightly forward tilt in the saddle if that's what is comfortable (stupid UCI rule). Great looking bike! I agree with the posters saying that there is no need for such a big rotor in the rear.

well,
There are some compatibility of the rear post mount, cause of the frame design,
If i use the TRP spyre or BB7 stuff will be fine, also the Avis or Shimano Hydraulic system.

For this Cable Hydraulic brake, it cannot fit this frame, the adjusting screw will hit the frame,
that's why i install another adapter for the rear one, and put with 180mm rotor.

hmm, the saddle, some confused because of the bike stand,
but anyway,i did put it slightly downwards, this one is new for me.
I'm just using this saddle about 500km, i put it in this way,as i can feel comfortable.
i 'm still waiting for another black saddle, of I might make it black with leather paint.

For the Rotor question, as i explain in the previous post, some comparability problem,
i 'm think put the same 180mm in the front to get it look even.

thanks.

Thanks.

 red outer cable, will put in consideration.
still try to get red shifter and the rear with black edition.

I just bought a tear-able spray paint "plastic dip" with dark red color,
might put some color for inner side of Fork and chain stay.

i will try this weekend, if it look good, i will keep it, or put it the same like now.

have not seen those Juin brakes before! do you have anything to compare them too? BB7, Spyre, Hy/Rd, etc? interested on how they perform.. they are much slimmer than the Hy/Rd.

this Juin one, I contact the manufacturer directly and get good price for pair,
almost same price with Spyre, but with good weight, and better for handling.
i have set of BB7 before, brake power is good, but with noise sometimes :noidea: and also the handling
HY/rd is too expensive for now, also the heavy weight. so, why not give a try.

However, these Juin one,i've use it for about 300km, including mountain area and commuting,
so far so good, the performance well, handling also excellent.
