So here is my new build, just in time for a few more rides in the fall here in Denmark and then to be trimmed just a little bit more over the winter to be ready for the spring.

This is the Canyon Ultimate CF SLX 2014 in Stealth color. It is size XL/60 which I still think is the right size for me. I previously owned an older Ultimate CF F10 where the geometry specs where a bit different, and since I like to ride a "smaller" bike, I was actually tempted to go for the 58/L. But as you can see I ended up with the XL and so far I am happy.

The parameters for my build is a mix of lightweight, durable, good looking, comfortable and still payable parts.Yes I know there are still plenty of grams to be saved and yes I might shave of some grams here or there, change the wheelset etc., but as it is listed here in the pictures I am actually pretty satisfied with weight......and the ride quality is fantastic.

This is the first bike for me with Di2 and it is simply amazing......for sure a point of no return for me.

As shown here in the pictures the bike weighs approx. 6.750 grams (excluding the Gamin computer itself).

Here is a list of the main parts:

- Canyon Ultimate CF SLX 2014 (Stealth) - Size XL/60
- Shimano Ultegra 6870 Di2 (Front and Rear Deraileur + Shifters/Levers) with internal battery mount in seatpost
- Shimano Dura Ace BR-9000 Brake Calibers
- Shimano Dura Ace CS-9000 11-25 Cassette
- Sram Red Exogram GXP Compact Crankset (175mm) sanded down
- Stronglight CT2 Chainrings (52/38)
- Ritchey WCS 4-Axis 110mm Stem
- 3T Ergonova Team Stealth Handlebar
- Canyon VCLS Seatpost
- Speedplay Zero Stainless Pedals
- Selle Italia SLR Carbon Sadle
- Handbuild 50mm Carbon Wheels with Carbon Concepts TI skewers/QR
- Schwalbe One 25mm tires
- KMC X10 SL Chain
- Lizard Skin Bar Tape
- Garmin Out Front mount (Garmin Edge 510)
- 2 x Elite Custom Race Bottle Cages

NB: Huge thanks to Juggler for guidance on the sanding process (crank).

What do you think?

UPDATE 05.03.2015
DUE TO A BACK INJURY I AM FORCED TO SELL THIS FANTASTIC BIKE - PLEASE PM ME IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.

Nice Canyon and great weight! You've really slammed that stem, do you still have enough steerer for a top cap? Or enough steerer for the stem clamping area?

Love it! I was expecting it to look funny with the red crankset but it looks great.

Nice, I love the red Speedplay's they make the whole:'Black with an little touch of red thing' work out just perfect. Do I understand it correct and you sanded of the decals from the crank? did you use this on the stem and seatpost too?

Looking great... that crankset turned out just the way it should.

Now you just need to upgrade the stem/handlebars/seatpost to some serious Ritchey Superlogic... ;)

Hi

Yes the previous owner cut it down quite tight, but I still have enough hight for top cap.......it is in the mail.

Thanks a lot. Yes the crank has been sanded to remove logos etc. but the logos on the stem has been easily removed just using nail polish remover (came off easy). The seat post is the original look from Canyon.....no work done there.

Cheers
