Hi,

This is my second build, first was a SL4 S-Works Tarmac. ( viewtopic.php?f=10&t=124230 )

At the moment, I only have the Frameset and some of the gear, still waiting on some stuff to arrive. I will weigh what I can, but really, its all just common parts. I would really like this bike to weigh 6.5kg, though I really don't know if thats possible or not. I seen another guy with a 56 got 6220 so time will tell.

I will use the following. I have some of it already, some I have to save a little money for other stuff is in the mail.

Brand/Model 2015 S-Works VENGE Cavendish Edition 58cm
Stem Zipp SL Sprint Carbon Stem 120mm
Bars S-Works Carbon 44cm ( 211g )
Tape S-Works Cavendish Black / Green
Shifters DA9001
Cable set Jagwire
Brakes/Pads DA9000
Cages/Bolts Skunkworks Carbon Cage - 21g
Saddle S-Works Toupe 149mm Carbon CVNDSH
Post S-Works Venge
Seat Clamp S-Works Venge
Front Mech DA9000
Chain Catcher K-Edge Chain Catcher ( Double )
Chain Set DA9000 175mm 52/38
Bottom Bracket S-Works Ceremic Speed
Pedals Shimano Ultegra 6800
Chain DA9000 Chain
Rear Mech DA9000
Cassette DA9000 11/25T
Wheel set UNDECIDED - I would like Zipp 303 or Roval 40
Tyres Michelin pro4 comp service course 25mm
Garmin Mount K-Edge Mount

@ Imaking20 - It was not meant to be available in Australia, I emailed Specialized AU and they said NOPE. 1 week later I get a call from my LBS and he said he can get one. They only bought in 2 or something. I said I will take it.

I got some Dura-Ace parts today. Do you guys actually want it weighed or you don't care ?

What is the name of this forum again? ;) Great looking frame. I certainly hope you are going to get it below 6.5k

I know Frankie, but they are normal Dura-Ace 9000 parts. But sounds like I must weigh them so I will :) :)

I really don't if 6.5kg is realistic or not. I want it to be, but once I weigh the frame I will have a better idea of how I am tracking.

The frame, frame with fork - for sure.
Mainline parts - I'm the 1% that doesn't care.

OK. I will get the frame + fork / just frame weighed next time I am at the shop. I will weigh the rest of it just to keep the thread updated.

Went to the shop to get the frame weighed. Little busy so will get it done next week.

Got some other goodies delivered though, will weigh them soon as I get a scale from the shops. But I promise all weights will be recorded before build. Also, after speaking to the shop, I don't think it will get below 7kg. I don't know how people have got them to 6.2 etc.

Wheels are a big factor to what your overall weight will be. My venge (54cm) came to a midgen over 6kg with a set of lightweight tubs on it and 6.5 with come clincher zipps. From experience I think you could get it to 6.8 no problems.

Thanks mate - It is a 58cm frame. So I am always going to be fighting the weight problem. But if I go the Roval 40's which are 1395g I think, then I thought I wouldn't have a problem getting under the 7kg mark. Not sure where else I could save weight. The only thing I could change are the pedals.
