Last "Alize"… now due to "red s company" complain name has been changed for Nazare…

Basically new is frameset and stem/handlebar combo. Rest is transplanted from my "old" BMC GF01 (sold :( have $pac€ only for 2 bikes … ) . Idea was to have road bike with aero frame which I could use after small modifications as TT bike. NP is supplying 78* seatpost so I couldn't resist it :)

Frameset : NeilPryde Alize 2014, size 54
Headset : FSA
BB: Rotor PF30:24 (BB4624)
Complete groupset : Shimano Ultegra 6800(50-34/11-28) with chain Exception : here is Sram Red 1190- for next season will be changed for 6870Di2 and 53/39
Cables : Shimano ( NOT PTFE coated )
Wheels :
1.DT Swiss 46mm clinchers + Veloflex Corsa 23mm
2.Hed Belgium /DT350 (24/28) + Conti GP4000SII 23mm
Handlebar : 3T Ergonova 42mm
Stem : 3T Arx Pro 110mm 6*
Tape : Lizard Skins
Bottle cages : KingCage stainless + Elite Aero
Saddles : Specialized Chicane for "road" and Prologo ZeroTT for "TT"
Additional 78degrees seatpost : NeilPryde
Clip On's : Zipp Vuka Alumina, 3t Team "ski" extensions ( not pictured )
Pedals : Look Keo Max "limited" ( whatever it means ;) )
Computer : Garmin Edge 510

Weight : Without pedals, bottlecages, Garmin and on DT wheels : exactly 7000g

Future updates : Handlebar for 3t Aeronova, groupset for Di2, Disc rear wheel (Vision/Corima/ DT…) plus 80mm+ front .

I had Specialized ;) (Crux) - changed for BH (RXone) and 1st feel was "i'm flying" :)

For me biggest value of Alize is versatility : road bike, and within minutes TT bike. Plus bike feels really incredible- very responsive nd very stabil. Not so comfy as BMC GF01, but that wasn't under any consideration- however 85 km on 1st & 135km done on 2nd day on bike without any issues with comfort.

Big plus is that I can easy build TT bike under 7kg not spending tons of money ( saddle, bar, cables, pedals... will give approx 300-400g of saving or can be equalized by rear disc wheel … for +- 1€ per gram ). Going extreme ( in my means, not even close to many people means here :) ) I can have huge trouble to be 6.8 , below 6 is very achievable .

Changing wheels for tubulars , groupset for Red/ Record plus small bits mentioned above , plus rear disc , front 80-90mm and I'm easy , below 6.8kg… still having road bar + TT clip ons !

With Powertap ( on Hed Jet disc ) it will be bit above 6.8kg :) pretty good for "TT" :)

Next thing is uniqueness : here you have Cervelo, Shiv on "every corner" . I won't even mention Tarmacs or Venge's . I'm the only one with NeilPryde :)

I have to say Ultegra is a lot more pleasing to the eye than DA. Nice bike ...

Thanks !

In real life looks waay better than on images. And rides better than looks .

"black" is not black, is just raw CF ( like on BMC ) but with satin matt clearcoat. The only one thing is "to fix" : TT seatpost comes only as "glossy" finish ( Alize were as matt in blue and glossy in red )- frameset ( and "normal" post ) is satin matt, so I'm thinking about re-coating it. Just need to find car-paintshop which is making "CC spray's with hardener".

Frame is Di2/EPS ready - so will be no issues (hope) with it - that change is forced by "need/want" shifting on extensions, not sti only - otherwise I would stay mechanical here.

you're right : now it's Nazare… Specialized complained (Alize-Allez sounds to close for them…)

78*seatpost + clip-ons with extensions will make "poor man TT" ;) or you can call it "perfect multisport 1-bike setup" ;)
