I really like this frame, wishing it was smaller so I can see what it would look like close to my size.

Wow, that's kinda a kick ass build. Sweet. What's the weight?

Excellent build, enjoy. Do you have an accurate weight for the frame and fork? Ta.

Hey all!

I didn't actually weigh the frame and fork before the build. I know, total blasphemy. I know for certain that a frame in 48sl weighs 835 grams.

Also, the ride is really smooth. I've ridden a lot of carbon bikes, aero or not, and this frame has really predictable, stable handling. It's comfortable as well. Even on longer rides.

I'll try and get a photo of it on the scale. My memory is the complete weighed 6.18kg total.

Very nice build, but I still can't get past the fact that Colnago chose to follow a silly (possibly shortlived experiment) of placing the rear brake behind the bottom bracket. Let us know how you get on with that over time. Especially if you ride in cruddy weather. Looks like Trek has all but abandoned that placement with their new Emonda line; there just seems to be no practical advantage to it. The new Pinarello F8 uses direct mount brakes, but places them neatly hidden behind some fairing like seatstays, which shows you can still have direct mount brakes and make them very aero (if you care about that sort of thing) without placing them in such an awkward place in terms of maintenance and the amount of crud that will be thrown up at them from the road.
But brake rant aside, great build

Nicely played - especially the brand new EE brakeset.

Colnago or not, sloping top tubes are where it's at.

Is that a Ferrari emblem on the top tube near the headset?

Nice build, not aware the EE direct mount were available yet. Kind of surprised by the weight. Thought it would be lighter w THMs, EE, CCUs, and new ultimate components. Still a great weight of course.
