Good morning everyone I'm a noob on the site but a long time fan.

I purchased a standard Cannondale Evo 105 bike last week and ended up building this with parts I had laying around.

Build List:
Supersix EVO 52cm
Enve 44cm bar and 120mm stem
Lizardskin 2.0
Mavic R-sys SLR
SRAM 2013 RED groupo
SISL2 175 crank w/ stages
Compact Spidering
Ultegra 11-28 cassette
Ultegra chain
SI Alu Seat post
Romen EVO saddle
KCNC Ti skewers
Velloflex 23c tires
Speedplay stainless
Zero G's
Arundel cages

She ended up coming in at 6.37kg, Obviously I can still do more but this seems to be just fine for now.

Happy Monday!

If these are the parts you have laying around, I would like to see your other bikes.

Very nice evo!

Fantastic weight. Any idea what the standard mod frame weighs?

Haha. I have a feeling you know what my other bikes look like.

Mod frame? Do you mean HiMod or standard Evo?

No need to quote above

Cannondale website lists the standard mod Evo weight as "sub 950 grams" with the Hi-mod Evo as "under 700 grams"

Not too shabby at all for a 'parts-bin' bike...!

His other bike, that's a member of the Cannondale family too, is pretty awesome.

This seems rather drastic. 250g is a lot.

Yeah, I understand what the site said, but fact is, the Evo never weighed under 700 grams in the flesh (for production).

I'm hoping that the standard Evo frame is under 950, as I'm looking to get one soon.

I agree. I needed a fit to determine if I would use a 0 offset or a setback. Now that the fit is done I'll get a 0 which will drop the weight even more.
