I say budget because I've just about 3 grand in it with a Stages power meter. I know that's not budget for some but for others that's what their wheels cost. Painted it myself, didn't want another all black bike. Still need to finalize stem height (cut steerer)

Build Sheet.

Fork 348g
Dura Ace 9000 Mechanical Shifters and Derailleurs
Dura Ace 9000 53-39 172.5 w/stages power meter.
Dura Ace 11-25 cassette.
Ultegra pedals
Planet X Brakes.
Ritchey wcs Stem and Seatpost.
Ritchey Evo Curve bar. 44cm
Wheels, Light Bicycles 38mm clinchers, Sapim Laser spokes/nipples, Bitex hubs. 1305g

Huh, hadn't seen that (Argonaut) frame. Actually got the basic idea from this Speedvagen and had planned on painting the complete frame but got lazy.

Nice! I have this frame which I built up as a commuter. What do you think of the frame ridewise etc?

Budget with 9000? This place does make me chuckle.

That said, for the total cost and the subsequent build spec (and paint finish) it's excellent.

Keen to see how the wheels especially hold up a year or so down the line. How did you find the finish on the frame and fork? Any excess carbon that needed sanding back, etc?
