Those pictures are awesome. So when are you going to talk to JURE! I would be surprised if you have not already. You know how much you could save right?

I talk to Jure often. Yes I know how much could be shed. I just don't know if I want to make that commitment again....

I don't see you as being a guy that is afraid of commitment. You know you want to see it at 5999g.

So as to not rest on this project. I decided to replace my Zipp Vuka Sprint handlebars with the Specialized S-Works Aerofly. It is mainly a cosmetic thing because the Zipp logos were white, and clashed a lot with the stealth motive of this bike. The Aerofly logos are much more subdued. I already have this same handlebar on my Allez, and changing the Venge to the same bar will make things more consistent as well. On top of this BMANX's influence has finally made me order Jagwire Elite Link cable kits for both the shifting, and the brakes. So that should hopefully cut a few grams down too. So these changes are to come it's winter now, and this bike won't be ridden for sometime, so it's time for news stuff to be employed.

This sounds awesome. I can't wait to see the changes. I have been personally playing with the P2 with a new Satin Black paint job with Gloss Black Decals and my new Audi A3 S-Line Quattro which I have to admit has been a very fun addition.

Nice! New cars are always fun. I can't wait to see the P2. I've been riding my Fatboy a lot. I've also been modifying it a lot. I just put SRAM XX1 on it last weekend. It's a pretty awesome upgrade, I must say. I have some Magura MT8 brakes that will be going on soon too. The Allez has been getting beat on too, as it just did today. Meanwhile the Shiv is clamped into the trainer, and I'm trying my best to avoid it. lol

nice bike. As much as I would love to work for a bike manufacturer, it would be tough to constrain myself to riding only their products......

I don't really have to constrain myself to their products. However, I bought some of our wheels for everyday training wheels. CLX60's are my new daily wheels wrapped in Turbo Cotton tires 24mm front 26mm rear. I also upgraded to a Quarq spider, and SRAM TT chainrings. I hope you like the latest look.

Oh, yeah I also just ordered some ee cycleworks brakes. So I'm going to get rid of the KCNC C7's if anyone is interested.

How you like the Turbo Cottons?
I have a set of 24's and I find them quite similar to Veloflex Corsa's
I wonder your experiences about them

I love them. I used a set of 24's for 2k miles or so, and only had one puncture. The grip, and feel is excellent, they held up well too. That puncture I had was from a roofing nail. That would have punctured anything. I never used the Veloflex you are referencing. They reminded me of Vittoria Evo CX, but with better puncture resistance. Maybe a bit more grippy of a compound too. The ride felt similar though.

It is slightly under 15lbs I imagine. These wheels weigh the same as my Spinergy Clinchers, and it was 14.6lbs before I added the Quarq, and the TT rings with those wheels. The more I ride these Roval wheels, the more I like them. They just seem to roll faster than my Zipps. I'm thinking of selling my 404, and 808 tubies, and buying a set of CLX60, and CLX40 tubies. Or I may forgo the 40's, and wait for the 64's that are coming. The setup has once again changed so I can't weigh it as pictured. The brakes have been removed, and I am awaiting the arrival of my EE Cycleworks brakes that will be replacing the KCNC's. I'll try to get a weight for you this weekend with the new brakes.

As she sits now with ee Cycleworks brakes, and everything else pictured except I also went with a 11-25 cassette over the 11-23 pictured. Since I upgraded to the power meter, I put a standard set of TT rings on so I can easily swap it to my TT bike with only one bolt, and no derailleur adjustments. My 404 tubies with a red 11-23 cassette will easily drop a pound from this weight.

As for the ee brakes. They are simply the best rim brake I have ever used. Best modulation, and power I've ever felt from a rim brake. You can pull some serious negative G's hitting the brakes hard with a good set of grippy tires like the Turbo Cottons. I felt the back end get light under hard braking yesterday on a descent. Disc brake performance without the aero or weight penalty. Actually, they are more aero than standard rim brakes, and about a pound lighter than disc brakes. I don't see any drawbacks really. They are fantastic brakes. This bike has absolutely no weakness now. 100% confidence in all situations.
