Hey All! Long time reader, first time poster. I am looking to remove decals from an ec70 post. I know there are ample threads on how to do this, so I am good on razor/sanding method. But, I have not found anything regarding whether this will affect the seatpost in terms of slippage. Will removing the clear coat down to bare carbon take enough off the diameter of the post to affect the fit in the frame? I don't really want to find out the hard way and then have to re-spray it with clear. Thanks!

Whenever i have stripped carbon seat post i have first put them in the frame and measure how much is showing then strip that part.
From past experience fully stripped post don't have any problems after some carbon paste was applied.
