Not gonna go into too much detail here... It's heavy, and it looks really sharp. Every part was brand new except the crank. Total cost was a little over $700 CAD.

I certainly notice the extra 4 kilos from my previous Neo Hyper build, but I took it off-road last weekend for 26km and enjoyed not worrying about damaging the bike.

Comments are appreciated!

Interesting build. Not sure if I'd have gone with the white tires. What is the final weight?

I have that frame and the same one but with the carbon seat/chain stays and both frames are of decent quality and are fairly light for what they are. I have my race bike with the carbon rear in the 15lb range.

Looks nice, except for the white tires. White gets ugly really fast, and black would just look better. Good build! Weigh that sucker!

Dig the long and low build/frame

Love the cranks

Everything else a bit too much but that's a nice cheap race bike

I would go black tires and then it would be pretty class for a sub 1k build.

I hate to be horribly morbid, but this looks like a ghost bike that a lot of major cities have to memorialize riders killed on the street.

Not that great... maybe it is the crankset that ruins it.

I like that it has a different look than most bikes. :D I would however change to a black seat collar and tires. Nice work.

Damn, that's what it reminded me of.

But the top tube slopes down towards the head tube!

Wow...80's style...where you color match everything. Reminds me of the Ferrari from Miami Vice.

Tires: I have a nice wash bay at work, so I often spray the bike down and hit the tires with a soapy scrub brush. That has kept them pretty clean so far, and I ride a fair distance off-road.

Interestingly, I didn't plan on white rims and tires. But a great deal came up, and I though they'd look neat. I plan to upgrade to a nice set of gum-wall tubulars on low profile rims (or at least wide rim clinchers). I'll post more pictures if I ever find the right wheels.

Crank: This will be painted white and re-decal next winter.

Ghost Bike: Ya, it does look like a monument to a tragic event. Our city has three ghost bikes, one is in honour of a good friend. I knew that going in, it didn't stop me.

80's Appeal: I agree, where can I find a classic frame pump?

Can someone recommend a set of super low profile rims with either white or chrome accents?

Tubular would be okay; but I'd prefer a wide clincher.
