Nice job.

I think you choose well orange colour. And it's unique. Lovely R5...

...have to ask, just how does one acquire a "production sample" frame of a current model Cervelo? Very curious.... EM3

em3, the usual story of a contact of a contact of a chinese cycling friend. production sample could actually also mean production excess or non-cervelo qc passed frame.

did some short rides already.
initial impressions.
-eps, nice solid sound when shifting (youll know you have shifted already, compared to smooth di2)
-for gloss carbon rims brake tracks (bora, racingspeed, ax, extralite, etc), campy carbon pads work best!
-rotor q-rings, first time user, funny pedaling feeling initially which goes away after some time.

had to change seatposts, 6k cycles ultralight slipping.

now using token 9141m 27.2 post. 30g more but ill take the small penalty over slippage.

400 to sand the topcoat and paint off. then 800 to smoothen.

Crazy paintjob!! Pure bikeporn!

It reminds me of Sylvain Chavanel's orange Specialized and the orange Scott he's ow riding at TdF.
Looks as nice as the Kinesis Aithein in orange posted in this topic.
Now I'm sure: orange is the new black.
