That dark metal stem is still bugging me. Is the color matched stem coming soon?

Oh, and you can send those HPWs my way... Lovely wheels. Wanted them then, still day dream about them now.

Oh, tempting as it is, I just got a new set of wheels.
But PM me with their general history, condition (they look well cared for) and what you might part with them for.
And then I will unfortunately probably continue lusting after these wheels further... D@mmit!

Stem has been swapped to a black one for the time-being. I may get it painted gloss or metallic black as the logos bug me a little!
Wheels have also been rebuilt onto fully refurbished silver Record hubs.

Well a year on and I still smile when ride this.

Position has been finalised and all the spacers have gone. Only thing left to do is paint the stem gloss black and she's done.

Noooo. If you're going to paint the stem, paint it to color match the frame and fork.

Already tried it. Problem is matching pearl white painted at a different time on a different material. It's nigh on impossible to get a close enough match. I may wait until I have the frame resprayed and have the stem done then.

So after a few seasons I have grown bored of pearl white. Mainly cleaning it after the slightest exposure to the outside world. Respray time!

The style is staying pretty much as is. Polished graphics, albeit with slightly larger down tube logo, and a fully polished back end.

Colour choice is a super dark brown, almost black. And this time the stem is being sprayed to match at the same time!

Pics as soon as she's done.

Spec is likely to be tweaked a smudge too. Record 2015 mechs with the lever bodies to match. Everything else will stay the same. Polished alloy brakes, 2009 cranks & Evo 52/36 rings, TB14 on Record CULT hubs.

Plan is for her to be ready to roll out for Strade Bianche 2017 in March.
