'13/'16 Supersix Evo Black-Inc (5.42kg)
Moderators: MrCurrieinahurry, maxim809, Moderator Team
I was keen to bring the weight back down under 6kg, so I set about changing a few things. Firstly I purchased a pair of Carbonworks 8g bottle cages.
...and a padded Berk Lupina. I went for the narrow model with the round rails; weight is 85g.
Weight is now back to an OCD pleasing 5.98kg.
....and pics with the new saddle and cage:

A few questions...
Do you know what the actual width of the Vittoria Corsa 25mms?
I'm purchasing this frame an want to know what will actually fit. I'll have a size 52 and some people say that 25s will fit these frames but others don't... Thanks!

I have a 52cm of the same frame and came to the conclusion that a measured 25mm tire fits in the rear. A measured 26mm fits if you have a stiff rear wheel, but the clearance between the rear chain stays is pretty tight and not worth the extra risk.

Thanks Joe! Seems like this is a good frame to get low weight without breaking the bank!
Thanks guys.
I didn't measure the Vittorias. However I've just measured the Continentals with a vernier and they are exactly 25mm on the rims. I'd say the Vittorias were very a similar width as the gap to the chainstay looks incridibly similar to how it did with them fitted.
I'm looking for one of the newer Evo frames which have more clearance as currently it seems fine, but it is very close. Will be a good opportunity to swap to a Hi-Mod too.

Very good inspiration man. I pulled the trigger on mine last week!
Being a non-High-Mod built, I’d like to share my thoughts on my brand new 2018 SS-E Dura-ace 9100 (Non-HM) size 54.
Out of the box, without pedals, bottle cage and bar tape, it sits at 6.85kg. I have it complete at 7.2kg with keo classic pedals which is more than I thought it would be since it comes with the Hollowgram carbon clinchers.
I’ll be back here often for my mods!

Very nice build, how do you like the Berk Lupina? Is it padded enough to be comfortable on long rides? Could you tell me how much is its height from rail to top of the saddle? Thanks

Berk Lupina is very comfortable, although saddles are obviously very personal things. It has quite a bit of flex in it which takes out lots of road buzz.
Height from bottom of rail to top of saddle is 35mm.
Whilst I was measuring I grabbed a few pics to show a few updates I did towards the end of the summer:
- 3t Dorico Ltd post that I stripped the logos and paint off and re-painted with a thin dusting of satin black
- Ti bolts replaced with black Ti bolts

I liked the red when I first got the bike but I've grown to wish it was more monochrome. I plan to swap the frame soon, partly to lose weight but also to lose the red accents.

Last shot of the Evo looking like this...

so ''sad'' to see it go! Any updates on the new frame? Is the build done?
