Cheers! My guess would be 54 and put a longer stem on like I have if you need to. I'll measure saddle to bar for you tomorrow though.

Still sweet! Although the Rotundos made it 100x better.

Very nice Buildup! I am saving up some more pennies to add a few more mods to mine.

Thanks, that's what I thought would be the best route. Saw a guy on one the same colour today in london... They look so good!

Fantastic looking build. Not usually a fan of the black/red bikes (despite owning a extremely similar Tarmac SL3 for 2 years) but yours looks awesome. Especially with the black-rimmed SLRs. I've been using your build as an inspiration for my 2014 Supersix Evo Red Racing. Hopefully will have mine dialed in the next couple weeks and will post it up. Would really love to get a set of the SLRs myself too, just can't justify the cost at this point.

My SiSL2 Hollowgram arrived. It's a beautiful thing. Weight for both arms, rings and axle are 492g.

Image

The S951 I took off weighs 693g, so a really good saving. I anticipate the Hollowgram will flex less than the SRAM one too.

Image

The PF30 BB that comes with the SiSL2 consists of 2 aluminium cups and 2 press in 6086-2rs bearings. This is also lighter than the SRAM PF30 BB.

I decided to swap the Mavic QRs for some Ti and carbon ones that are less than 1/2 of the weight.

Image

Image

Fizik saddles have an unnecessary clip-in logo on the back. I removed this as soon as I got the saddle, so the remaining plastic moulding was now surplus to requirements, so I chopped it off.

Now onto the scales... It was good to see I'd hit my target of <6.00kg (just!).

Cool to see a sub 6kg bike without any stupid, ugly and fragile parts. Proper race climber

Cheers, only fragile parts are the skewers, I've already changed back to the Mavics as the plastic bushings on the others are crap. Any recommendations for good, light skewers?

Awesome looking bike, would put a bit more of tape in it.

You need both skewers or just the rear one? In the front some of the light ones tend to suffice.
