That's a very nice one :beerchug: !!!

Kind of reminds me the "Gitane" orange...

Why not a carbon steerer fork ? What's the weight at the moment ?

Louis :)

Why new wheels? I like them.
Tell us something more about them: Mavic rims (open pro??), what hubs, spokes, weight,...

Really like this build, would love to see a larger gallery. Have you considered a post with greater setback?

Thanks indeed - the fork is a full carbon columbus minimal but i needed to use a stem shim because it's 1" - that's the metal you see.
With these wheels (which are super heavy!) as you see it it's 8.2kg.

Skewers will be - 100g
wheels (tune mig/mag, cxrays, stans alpha 340 24/28 and veloplugs) should be at least minus 700g from this wheelset.
hoping for around 7.5kg....

I'm getting some light wheels built for hilly rides - these can be used for every day use.
The ones you see on the bike are:
Mavic open pro 28H (first edition)
Ambrosio hubs
DT straight gauge spokes (i think)
bare wheels weigh around 2kg

new wheels should be around 1250g... 8)

thanks :beerchug:

to be honest i haven't although looking at where my saddle is you may have a point (long femurs)
could you recommend a post with more setback (this is a 27.2 / 25mm setback post) ?
cheers
