In my never ending quest for the "road less traveled," here is my latest project. 2013 Merida Reacto Evo. Its not the lightest bike I have or a true WW, but it is fairly light. Total weight as pictured is 7348 gms (16.2lbs). That is not bad for a thick aero frame. The ride is surprisingly good and nibble. I love the paint scheme, but I've always been drawn to the wide side as opposed to the all black thing. I'll post more, including some pictures with deeper rims (its been bloody windy here in Texas the last few months).

Frame: Merida Reacto Evo (905 - same frame as the Team) Size "L" (57.5 TT)
Fork: Merida Reacto Evo
Saddle: San Marco Mantra (got to love that it matches the paint!)
Drive Train Group: Full Campagnolo S. Record EPS (V2 internal battery)
- Crank: 175 Compact
- Cassette: 12-17 S. Record
Brakes: Shimano Dura Ace Direct Mount (I had no choice, but they look pretty cool on this bike  ).
Stem: 3T ARX Team Stealth Black 12 cm
Bars: 3T Ergonova 44CM Stealth Black
Pedals: Look Keo Carbon
Wheels: Mavic R-Sys SLR
Tires: Vred. TriComp

I wish that Campagnolo or someone else made a good direct mount brake. I looked at TRP but those are really for tri bikes, not road bikes.

Lastly, sorry for the crappy photos. I'm still trying to figure out how to get better ones to upload.

I searched long and hard for a European dealer that would tear down a complete bike and sell me the frameset. Finally found an Italian shop that would.....where there is a will, there is a way.

Nice Audi but get rid of it and make some pics against a plain white background.
Nice bike BTW.

I really like it, but.....aero frame w/ r-SYS wheels just seems to defeat the entire purpose (this coming from an owner of R-SYS slrs, tubular). What's your aero options?

I agree about the R-Sys wheels. Love them, but not aero. I also have a set of Zipp 202s, and a set of Enve 45s that I love. I'll post new pics with the 45s.
