The rear tire clearance is pretty. What made you go with disc road instead of a cross frame?

wheels are great. noticeably less cross wind issues than the 50mm deep rims on my other bike.

thanks, i think the dash of colour stopped it looking boring.
and hah.. they were a parts bin item as i'm struggling to find comfortable shoes to fit my wide feet!

i actually started on a disc CX. it was a little too big for me, and felt a little lethargic due to the slack head angle.
one of the reasons i changed to this frame was a 25mm tyre sat ever so close to the seat post, i love it.

this was my FR-602 Disc CX....

Wow...nice! I love the single ring up front!

How was the buying experience from Flyxii? I'm thinking about getting a MTB frame from them.

thanks! single ring is all i need, i'm no speed racer i just love carbon. :p

having bought 2 frames and a few other bits from Flyxii, they have been great to deal with. postage to Australia has been exceptionally quick as well.
my only advice is confirm what comes with the frame. one of my frames came with a headset, one didn't. both were worded slightly differently!

fitted a bottle cage, and some ultremo zx's, just waiting for my faulty pedals to come back... :(

the weight saved on the tyres was taken up by the bottle cage, so still at 6.92kg

swapped the GXP crank for a BB30 variant. also switched rotors to HS1, little bit heavier but much better lever feel.
now a barely-UCI-legal 6.81kg.
