For what kind of riding you use a Fatboy? I love the looks and I'm about to buy a new ride I want to use to ride to work each day on back country roads. Each way is about 7 miles and I was wondering if a Fatboy would be ok for it? These bikes just look so sweet.

Fatbikes will ride over just about anything.
I use mine on super soft sand/beaches. Others use em in the desert or soft snow.

I use mine anytime I am riding off road. I love it. I have access to plenty of other mtbs, but I love my Fatboy.

So it would be ok to ride it on the street 7 miles each way to work. Maybe a good workout for getting stronger flipping to the road bike on the weekends.

It would be okay, but tires would be expensive, and you would go really slow compared to a road bike.

What size next sl crank fits the fatboy carbon frame? I'm looking to upgrade but not sure if I need the 170 or 190mm version.

Both will fit with a 1x drivetrain. 170 will have a slightly better Q factor, less spacers, and the direct mount chainrings are offset and reversible to get the chain line right. If you do a front derailleur you'll want a 190 crank.

Both of mine were size medium. Glad you dig it. I love this color myself as well.
