ToffieB .Look how good this frame looks with full carbon wheels.
I have noticed your concern for such a wheel set pointing out to some poor road quality on your roads.
But do not think that your worries are legitimated.
Get some 38 or 50 deep wheel set from Farsports and always ride with approx 110psi tire pressure.
You will enjoy not only better looks but also an all around stiffer and lighter wheel set.

Thanks for the message :)

I know carbon wheels will be better looking, and more aero at the same weight.
But my main concern is braking surface.

I am living in a really hilly area, where I need to use my brakes much more than a regular rider. Also I need sometimes heavy braking, where, I believe carbon brake surface won't be able to stop me in time.
Also the second problem is, I have a really "dirty" city especially after rain. All the dirt and mud come together at my brake surface is massive. I am worried that it will cause my brake surface will be gone soon and my rims will be trash...

I only have one bike so this is my both winter and summer bike.
I can buy the cheapest shimano wheels for bad weathers, maybe, but I am still worried about braking performance for good weather too :)

Not an FM066 but Chinese none the less. Avoided black as my summer bike is stealth.

Here's my FM029 built up last year as my winter bike. Transplanted the Veloce groupset from my Izoard XP. IT weighs about 8.8kgs with the Fulcrum 5 wheels.

Here's a question for folks who know a lot more about this stuff than I do:

Who are the known companies who just slap their name on open mould frames and call it a day? I've heard Ritte, Kindhuman, PedalForce, Planet X and Isaac. Are those all true? Are there other noteworthy ones?
