Dear all,

I have been a long one lurker on this forum. Recently I finished my new build. Basically a caad 10 with force 22. Only have a crappy phone pic at the moment. Image

This summer I will be working in Chicago for four months. Currently I am doubting if I should bring my bike. Currently I try to cycle three to four times a week (training for the transalp tour).

Does anyone know a cycling club I could join in Chicago to do some group cycling and perhaps some racing?

Thanks!

Nice ride you've got there. I would certainly take it to Chicago. With SRAM being based there and it being a big city I would assume there has to be some decent riding in the area.

Weight should be around 7,5 kg. Build was budget driven and had to make some choices for the heavier components.

There's plenty of clubs around Chicago. Lots of brewery and cycle shop teams that do rides every weekend.

It's not the most exciting terrain for riding around here, but there's some low traffic routes through the suburbs to keep you busy for a few months.
