Hello everyone! Been browsing the forum for a bit and finally decided to join and participate. I'm new to cycling and i'm learning as I go while having a blast!
Started riding mtb late last year (2013). Picked up my first roadie early this year.
It was a Trek Alpha 1.2. Upgraded couple things before I sold it.

Got a decent deal on a 2011 Allez Comp 58cm and I love it. Not the lightest bike but I need to worry about my own weight and performance before I start counting grams on the bike.

Looks great! It will definitely look nicer with some carbon wheels. Where are you from in the Bay Area? I may be wrong but from one of the pictures it might look like the Limeridge area near Mt. Diablo, Walnut Creek?

Thanks! I live/work on the peninsula. That's also where most of the riding happens. :beerchug:

As stated above...still a rookie. Maybe once I slim down a bit, I'll fully commit to the sport

Is that a seasucker car rack you're using there? Any feedback on it?

I thought the same, re: leg hair.

Quickest way to go from rookie to a 'pro', shaving it :beerchug:

Great pics and bike too. Love the Allez.

Yup. I've been using their products for over a year now and love it. At first I bought the Talon which holds one bike but I soon realized that no one can simply have just 1 bike...
Got the mini bomber through my LBS and its been great. I use it couple times a week. Rain, wind, 100+ heat, 80mph on the freeway...no concerns. Best thing ever if you have more than one car or change cars often...
I made this awfully boring video mainly testing out the gopro. I was more concerned about the gopro then the rack...

Also, since last time I've swapped out the 52/36 chainring to sram red 50/34.
