Long time Lurker here
So after my cervelo S1 had paint corrosion on the top tube, so had to look around for a new bike.
Came across this shop and they offered me a fantastic deal for the bike.

Bike is all stock with the exception of the saddle which i used back the fizik antares. Bike weights in at around 8kg using the Body weight plus bike -body weight method of weighing.

Size S
Frame Reacto Comp Direct-E
Fork Reacto Carbon Lite-Direct
Derailleur Front Shimano Ultegra 6800
Derailleur Rear Shimano Ultegra 6800 SS
Shifters Shimano Ultegra 6800
Brakes Shimano 105 Direct
Chainwheel FSA Energy 50-34
Chain KMC X11S
Wheels Fulcurm Racing Quattro
Tires Continental Ultra Sport II 23
Handlebar Stem Merida Pro CF OS -5° (looks like Controltech manufactured it)
Handlebar FSA Gossamer Compact OS
Headset Big Conoid-insert Neck Pro
Seat Post Reacto Aero Carbon Flex
Saddle Fizik Antares
Pedal Look Keo Classic

Merida bottle cages X2,K Edge Go Pro Rear Mount. Garmin Edge 200

Rode back home from the shop, it feels slightly faster and stiffer than the S1 though braking from the rear caliper is bad.

Future upgrades
52T FSA aero Chainring
3T Egronova Team handlebar (already corroded two bars previously)
Possibly Race Wheels (Not too sure what to take yet)
GP 4000S when the tire is worn out.

Some pictures before bike starts getting dirty/worn out
Sorry for iphone picture quality

Nice bike! I think the upgrades you have in mind are all very sensible.

Thanks for the comment guys!

in 2 days or so, i have done roughly 90-100km on the bike liao.

1. The bike is super, super stiff, the frame i think is at least 10-20% more stiff than the S1, I rode to school, leg can pain lol. When you press down the pedal it really goes! I think this is due to the rear triangle being super small and of the bb30 crank

2. Direct mount brakes cant be compared to the standard dual pivot caliper brakes, the rear brakes do not really have the bite and the front brake is not as strong, maybe i will get some better brake pads.

3.Im currently using compact crank, but I cant really pedal it yet, i dunno how when my 52T chainring set comes in October.

4. Bike definitely can go fast, its how hard you wanna pedal, commute to school is around 1kph faster ytd compared to the S1, but its just one ride, so i guess i need to ride more

5. One thing i really appreciate about the bike is that the frame isnt a compact frame like giant or cervelo, my big bottle can go in and out easily whereas the old frame, my bottle would be touching the top tube

6. Bike is not really comfortable, even though the rear seatpost has a rubber insert to dampen the ride quality. But its fast!

I have read online that the frame is exactly the same layup and geometry and materials as that used for the Lampre-Merida team, but it seems heavy even with ultegra

grabbed a greal deal on a pair of 42cm LTD egronova LTD .

mounted back my old stem. shall see how it performs.

lost 100g despite new bars and stem being a 42 and a 100mm stem (old bars and stem are 40 and 90)

now to look for some black fizik anatres saddle, red and black saddles stick out like a sore thumb
