Great bike but I'm curious how you are going to get it down to 6kg... I can't really see this as possible with the current frame/fork? or is this what you are planning to change?
At last decent pictures of my bike whith its new wheels.
Arms of a sprinter, legs of a climber, lungs of a smoker!
I cycle, therefore I am.

I'm trying to get my hands on the Canyon F10 Ultimate frameset. That should do the job plus swopping my tufo S33 pro to the Elite jet <160.

I finally got my steering tube cut, and now everything is finalized in terms of seat post hight... at 28lbs it's not a super light bike, but it's light enough for me! It's my SUV bike!

Against everyones advice (they said to go clipless).. I went with a "normal" pedal since it's what I was used to riding on from my younger days in BMX.
They are a sort of downhill pedel.. made by Crank Brothers.. they're called 50/50 XX, and retail for about $120 and come with an extra set of inserts to go from the red to a black, and also additional screws to place more studs on the surface. They also make a 50/50 X which doesn't include the spare parts for about $80.

I personally use clipless but I have to say if I were to go with a normal flat pedel those would be the ones. They look like they are really nice. They cost alot but if you dont use clipless I guess it isnt that bad. Nice choice, mabey you could post a shot of just the pedel from the above veiw.
Life isn't about how many breaths you take, it is about how many moments take your breath away.
Hi WW!
I'm new around here but i've been reading some of the messages along time a go, and that just revealed in me a potential WW.
Sorry for my poor poor english, i'll try to be the most understandable as possible.
As the says, i'm supposed to introduce myself so here it goes...
I'm a 21 year old XC/road racer (in learning process) from Portugal, you can see some of my current bikes except my race bike (sunn exact 2006 model) which i don't have any picture yet.
This Specialized Epic is with my first mounting spec for 2005 pre-season with full XTR, in 2005 season the only thing i kept was the wheels and frame all the rest was different much better now, i gotta show you guys when i'll get new pics.
The Specialized Allez comp is also different for this season, i changed te ROTOR for a Shimano Ultegra 6500. i also gotta show the new pics of it.
I'll take it very soon i hope.
Sorry for the long long post
