So I am toying with the idea of shaving some weight off my bike this season.
The bike is stock other than:
- GP4000s 23mm tires
- Giant PSLR1 Aero wheels
- Selle Italia Max Gel saddle
- Shimano 540 spd-sl pedals
- Ultegra Di2 groupset

What would you change to make this light weight XL bike? Any and all recommendations welcomed.

Do you run Ultegra or DA?

Matters how much weight you want to drop, and how much you want to spend. I would start with the cockpit: bars, stem, saddle. I would guess that you can save at least 100g there.

Like Drainyoo said, changing the stock cockpit to lighter parts will drop at least 100 grams, if not 200. Then will come wheels and cassette. It the seatpost a proprietary one or just round? if round, change to a lighter one. stock items tend to be heavy. Inner tubes are a great area to target. Latex tubes will give lower rolling resistance and ligher weight. Lighter brakes and cranks can also be had. as a last resort, turn to bolt tuning.

good luck!
