I've built up track and BMX bikes before, but now I'm building up my first road bike using parts made of carbon and titanium materials. I want to make sure that I'm prepared when I'm ready to put it all together, so I would like any advice/info on what I should/shouldn't be doing. Here is what I have so far:
- Ti Prep on all bolts, especially titanium bolts
- Grease on headset and bottom bracket bearings
- Loctite on chainring bolts (I've read that this is good and bad, not sure.)
- Carbon assembly paste on any carbon parts in contact with carbon/aluminum
- Apply proper torque to bolts
