So after ordering my bike in November last year, it has finally shipped!! It'll arrive on Wednesday so I'll get some photos up when I can.
I know it's not going to be super light but it should be light enough and fast enough for racing this year. The roads where I live are pretty heavy and not the best kept so it'd be nice to feel a little less beaten up at the end of a race.

Domane Classics,
6870 di2
RXL finishing kit
Aerolus 5's

Awesome bike, would like to see pics when it arrives.
The Aeolus'es are less than ideal if the roads are bad tho...

They seemed to work out ok on those bad roads in the Arenberg

They probably work out Ok if you run 26-28mm tubs at 6 bar. 23mm clinchers at 8 bar....... less good

Those wheels are uber tough. I mounted some Vittoria Evo 25's... heaven on earth.

Did you get it with the standard paint scheme or did you get custom paint job? The classics edition is on my list of bikes I've been scouting out so I'm quite interested in how this works out for you :)

Close up pictures of the one piece dropout/derailleur hanger would be appreciated!

So the bike arrived yesterday and I built it up last night. I chose a custom paint job, team with solid logos in pearl carbon with candy orange decals. When I opened the box I was a little surprised that it wasn't the colour I was expecting as the P1 website made 'pearl carbon' look like a clear pearlescent but it is actually more like a pearlescent platinum colour. The candy orange is a bit darker than I expected too. I haven't got any good pictures yet as it's still dark when I leave for work and it's dark when I get home. I had my first ride on it tonight and it was incredible, I used to own an older 5 series madone, the model year before they released the kam tail model. It was ok but I found the ride a little dead and uninspiring. At the same time I had an Roubaix SL4 which although being stiff felt a little wooden as well. After the Madone and the Roubaix I had a S-works Venge with 6770 and Mavic Cosmics, after that I have been riding a SL4 S-works Tarmac with Chorus and Enve 3.4 wheels so far hands down the best bike I have ever owned (which I still own baring the Enve wheels, which I sold to pay for the Aerolus because you can switch them between Campag and Shimano in 10 seconds). The ride of the Domane I would describe as being somewhere between the Roubaix and the Tarmac, it feels as stiff as the Tarmac through the drive chain and front triangle but the Isospeed dampens the road massively, you still feel the zing from the stiffness of the frame but with some dampening. I really like that you still get some road feel without the bike just feeling dead like it is absorbing everything. I've taken one picture inside so you can see the colours, but when I have a day off with some better weather I'll get some pictures taken. It's got the RL wheels on it at the moment as the Aerolus are still in their boxes but I'll get them fitted for some of the pictures. Alsooo I've switched the cranks out for a pair of 6600's with Rotor rings until my power2max arrives as I wanted to sell the 6800 cranks as new.

Which crank combo did you go for with the power2max?

Rotor 3d as a friend of mine was selling them for a good price, he's upgraded to the new power2max. So I'm just waiting for that to arrive and I'll have his old cranks and powermeter.

Looks sweet! I see you went with the Serrano saddle, as well. How does it feel?
