Aura Stratos I
Moderators: MrCurrieinahurry, maxim809, Moderator Team
Introducing my new workhorse - An Aura Stratos I. My friends own the bike company Aura - they do custom Titanium Frames (which is next on my list…) and custom painted carbon frames…I built this one up as follows:
Frame / Fork: Aura Stratos I (Dedacciai Nero RC) + Dedacciai Fork
Groupset: Campagnolo Record 11 (Crank is 2009 vintage, rest of components are 2014…)
Wheels: 32 spoke Powertap Rear, 32 spoke DT Swiss RR415
Tyres: Veloflex Master 23s + Vittoria Ultralite tubes
Bars / Stem: Deda RHM02 42cm C-C, 130mm Deda Superleggero stem -8degrees
Post / Saddle: Deda Superzero Post, Specialized S-Works Carbon Toupe Saddle
Pedals: Look Keo Blade Carbon
Computer & Mount: Garmin 800 with k-edge mount
Bottle Cages: Elite Custom Bottle Cages
final weight with the wheels: 7.6kg - I suspect this will drop well below 7kg with my Mavic CCU's
Some Pics…Hope you like it. Cheers, Gino.

Nice. Those Deda frames have nice clean lines. Looks good in the Aura paint scheme.
Wait, what!? No Deda wheels? Just kidding... You have a very purposeful racing build there. Well done.

The kit (and the bike) look even better in the flesh. The rider however, doesn't !

Hey all, thanks for the comments. The bike rides really well, after a few years of riding Italian "superbikes" I picked this up and haven't really noticed much of a difference - probably due to my physical condition being far better now...and training with power means that 300W feels like 300W no matter which platform I'm on.
The kit is a custom kit made by an Australian company called Babici. The last pic of me is one of the many that were taken as a promo for new aura cycles website. The site is currently being updated, and the kit will be available for purchase from the site. I will post links as soon as it's all complete.
