Hi all, here's my barely sub-10kg Anthem X. Current weight is 9.97kg with pedals.

Intention was to build a reasonably light full sus bike yet durable enough for my 80kg frame that won't break the bank in "Phase 1". Still looking for ways to shed weight "reasonably". Feel free to comment!

Looks tasty....

As for losing weight...
Rear mech looks heavy, my sons X0 is only just over 200g
Lighter foam grips are available
A lighter seatpost is available

That's more than 1x10mm carbon spacer I know!
Impoverished weight weenie wanna-be!

you could save a lot of weight on pedals. Crank Bros Candy 3 (-50g), 11 (-125g) or eggbeater 3 (-75g), 11 (-175g), Time Atac XC 8 carbon (-200g), 12 (-225g).
The grips would work too, some ESI or Lizard Skin ones would be lighter.
Rear tire, easy to shed 100g there and maintain everyday utility. (top end Maxxis Ikon for example)

and, down the road, your frame. (I presume that gets into bank breaking price though...)

Thanks! I'm looking at KCNC foam grips at 11g sounds good to me.

Thanks for the advise. I'm actually looking at the Xpedo XMF08TT. A little concern as I'm near the weight limit of 80kg. Just 2kg shy fully kitted.
