Ok, that's nice. 50mm 1.4 or 1.2?

I like your build an the color touches. Well done and inspiring.

@Pugrot: The Planet X Cable clamp looks like mine just mounted with the hex bolt looking backwards.
Regarding the performance.. I race and ride two bike with Planet X Brakes and one with Campy Record Brakes - both are comparable in absolute brake performance if set up right (85kg Rider weight). This is with Black Prince on Mavic Ultimates and 38mm Carbon Wheels.

@Geoff: According to the EXIF tag -> LensModel Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II

Can't have everything nice, still just rocking the nifty 50 as my 50mm prime.

Ok thanks frohrider and sean, mine which are a few years old only have a tiny grub screw to clamp onto the cable. Always had in my mind a re-design of the cable clamp after it slipped a bit after emergency braking. Tightning beyond what seems reasonable seems to have fixed it.

But agree the performance has always been good as well on alu rims, never tried carbon.

The bike looks very good, but I have to state emphatically that an open mold Hong Fu and Skunkworks should not be used in conjunction with each other. Ever. Call me a hater, but it degrades the amazing and unique work that Lockheed has done. Ok, got that off my chest. Nice bike regardless.

Thoughts on red wall? Undecided, but I think it makes the bike look cheesier, all blacks may be going back on. Don't mind the logo, that's already off the bike. Was just for test purposes.

Sean - you called it; the red sidewalls look cheesy. I'd stick will all black for sure.

Black tires are back on. I will be going with all black handle bar tape once I need to replace, I don't dislike the current one enough to waste it.

How tall are you? (If you don't mind me asking) I was thinking about buying this frame and am wondering what size will work for me. Also, did the fork come with the original purchase of the frame? Thanks.

Great looking bike. Thinking of ordering an fm066sl frame from HongFu in the near future. How did you get the paint on the inside of the fork blades? Did they do that custom for you? And how much did they charge for that?

Thanks!

I had someone local do it. I think they offer paint services though, so I would ask them at the time of ordering.
