What a beautiful looking bike - the colour on the inside of the fork really sets it off too!

Well Done!

You know I was debating on that myself. When I was deciding on parts to build it with, it was between 3T and ENVE, in the end I chose 3T because I thought that the red would match the red of Campy quite well. Because it is a no name bare carbon frame, I needed a bit of color and thought all black would be too bland for my taste. With the addition of the red fork accent, 3T, and Campy 11 I am satisfied with how it turned out. I may even had a few more things in the future…

The frame looks like a copy of a Canyon Ultimate CF SL(X).

That's generally the idea of most of these Chinese open mold frames. They take the inspiration from somewhere.

Yes Roel W, this is hardly news and OP probably knows this like so many others here on the site.

seanblurr: I'm still going to trade my Allez E5 for this frame set one day. Bad-ass bike!

So I have a private workshop called the skunkworks...
Where I build very nice high end weight weenie bikes, mostly carbon and very black
http://instagram.com/p/bxzewiudNG/

And the skunkworks designed only one ww2 fighter plane the p38 lightning..
It was the branch of Lockheed Martin tasked to build Cold War spy planes and stealth aircraft for the CIA circumventing congress budgets, general political read tape and public knowledge.
To the point of setting up shell company's to buy raw titanium from the Russians durning the Cold War to build the first sr71 black birds

Basically a black op branch of Lockheed Martian, Money no object no question operation, most famous for the sr71 and the f117 stealth fighter which managed to exist for 25 years before been acknowledged publicly...

I'm building myself a new sub 5.4kg stealth machine at the moment and will when I get time tomorrow I'll post a serious photo essay :noidea:

Don't let Lockheed find out you exist (That is, if you are a legit business making profit), that's a lawsuit in the making. There is a large aftermarket Honda tuning company based out of Northern California that once called themselves Skunkworks until they made it big enough for Lockheed to become aware. Needless to say, they are now called Skunk2…

btw, I like your rendition of the original Skunkworks logo :beerchug:

solid build I like it, except for the stem and bar tape perhaps just an all black tape and de badged the 3T stem .. but that's just me.

Nice! Stem ties in well with the fork. Looking forward to my incoming FM079 even more now!

Is it it just me or does the cam lever on your brakes look different to the standard Planet X?

Might just be the photo but the pivot point seems to be shifted way over to the outside of the lever instead if the middle.

And have you modified the cable clamp or this a new design from Planet X as well?

Nice bike btw!
