Came across a really good deal on last year 54cm CAAD10 Black Inc frameset only
Was new, never ridden. Frame, fork, HS bearings, seatpost clamp.

I currently ride a 56cm 2013 EVO Red (photo)
Over the last 7,500 miles I've come to decide I prefer a smaller bike, hence the CAAD10 being one size down

My goal is to update this as parts come in and it get's built up
I'm not aiming for a uber-light bike, just one I can race all season and not have to worry about besides routine maintenance.
Would be great if it came in under 7kg with pedals, cages and Garmin mount (my Evo was 6.5 as ridden)

I love these frames.. altough without the Cannondale logo on the toptube, it's easily confused with a china frame.

Great build. If you struggle to get it under 7kg you could always go for the SISL2 crankset and swap the fork for an Evo version. That would save more than 250g.

You should have a problem with the 7k mark for a 54....my 56 is 7.17 without many fancy parts. Looking forward to the build. :beerchug:

Looks great! I too tried to downsize from a 52 to a 50, and the fit is great!

Looking forward for this build!

Thanks guys. Hopefully placing the order for 9070 soon. Almost everything else is ordered.

I've been considering grabbing the fork off of my current EVO and sanding down to raw.
How much would just the fork save of the stock CAAD fork?
Also I believe the CAAD is 50mm rake and the EVO is 45mm. How would this affect handling?

About 100g. Have a look here viewtopic.php?f=10&t=109014

Never rode it with the original fork so can't answer that but in theory I guess it should handle a bit faster and be less stable.

Hmm, I may run it with stock for a little and compare it to EVO to see how it changes the handling

Stem and post are in. Going to wait to remove the logos until I can make sure they give me the desired fit I'm after

BB showed up too. Probably the only dash of color on the bike
