Hello,

A long time lurker here, I thought I might finally post my bikes. Bit of a De Rosa fan; I have ridden the alu one for almost two years now (mostly with Ambrosio Chrono on Record hubs), and it is absolutely lovely. The King 3 I have had for a couple of months, and it is a beautiful and great handling bike. A few nice details on the Milanino: Chorus headset with the Chorus inscription on the top cap, and the discontinued Campagnolo seat post clamp with the good old logo. Since this is weightweenies: as pitcured, the Milanino is 7.08 kg and the King 3 is 6.42 kg.

Damn. Two of the most beautiful bikes I've ever seen. Great job. Built lists!

My next build is going to be all Italian.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Building these light was never a goal, but they turned out ok weight wise. The Milanino frame is quite light for an alu frame (1295 grams in size 54), and the fork is close to 300 grams cut. The King 3 frame is 1062 grams, the fork about the same as the Milanino fork. Build lists:

Milanino:

Groupset: Campagnolo Chorus
Wheels: Campagnolo Bora One Dark Label (light titanium skewers)/Ambrosio Chrono (w/Record hubs)
Tyres: Vittoria CX 25mm/Pavé 27mm
Handlebars: Deda Newton Deep 42cm
Handlebar tape: Fizik
Stem: Deda Superleggera 110mm
Headset: Campagnolo Chorus
Seat post: Fizik Cyrano carbon
Saddle: generic carbon from China
Bottle cages: generic carbon from China
Pedals: Look Keo Blade CroMo

King 3:

Groupset: Campagnolo Super Record Ti
Wheels: Campagnolo Bora One (light titanium skewers)
Tyres: Vittoria CX 25mm
Handlebars: Fizik Snake R1 40cm
Handlebar tape: Fizik
Stem: Fizik R1 110mm
Headset: Campagnolo Record
Saddle: Selle San Marco Aspide Carbon FX +Open
Bottle cages: generic carbon from China
Pedals: Look Keo Blade 2 CroMo

The King 3 looks lovely, but that Milanino is a dream bike as far as looks go!

The King 3 is much better to ride. It is more aggressive, more fun to handle and - of course - lighter. But the Milanino handles very well indeed.

I thought you'd say that but fancied asking.
Regarding the decals on the Milanino, ive seen some with green and red rings on the top side of the white block up the seat tube, any difference you know of ? Personally i much prefer the black and white, yours does look awesome.
