Finally convinced myself I needed a high end weight weenies-ish bike. I tried to pull out all the stops, or at least all the reasonable ones.

Frameset: 51cm Colnago Extreme-C
Group: Super Record 11
Wheelset: Fulcrum Racing Speed
Tires: Vittoria Corsa Evo
Seatpost: Colnago 28.0mm carbon
Seat: Selle San Marco Aspide
Bar/stem: Pro Stealth Evo 42cm x 90mm
Tape: Cinelli Tennis/Volee Tape
Pedals: Speedplay Zero cro-moly
Bottle Cages: Campagnolo Record [bought the pair for $55 shipped :)]

Im very very happy with the bike as it is. I have a black 28.0 Thomson seatpost on the way. And that may be the only change I would currently make. I originally wanted Lightweights, but the ones I wanted the deal fell through. But for half the price, the Fulcrum Racing Speeds are awesome, I love how noisy the freewheel is. Now hopefully, the Vector Speedplay powermeter are eventually released; that would make the bike perfect in my eyes. Hrm.. well, maybe a green Tune or Chris King headset just so everything isnt so monotonous.

Very nice. I hope it rides as good as it looks. The only negative to me is that the Pro bars jar with the overall "italian"ness. Do you any weights for the build?

Great looking bike and I think the PRO bars are absolutely fine. Doesn't matter if some people think its a mismatch, I think they look great and I have ridden with them, great bars imo. And anyway, it's your bike and it's up to you mate, good times with it ......

Im about 5 foot 7 inches. Not sure about the saddle to stem measurement. I like sitting on the rearward portion of my saddles.

Yeah, the PRO bars kinda made me hesitant about the Italian-ness of the bike. But after riding with them, Im very glad I bought them. Super stiff and they look pretty damn good. Japan and Italy were teammates in World War 2, right? Gah... bad joke. As for final weight, Im not sure just yet. I'll swing by a shop with a scale on monday.

Heh, I bought them off a bikeforums member. He actually sold me 3 for $55, but they all have something broken. This pair both have broken bottom tabs, but the top tab right above the oval collar keeps 500ml bottles correctly in place no problem. The 3rd cage has a broken junction where the oval colar meets the lengthwise portion of the cage, so its pretty much garbage.

That is fantastic. I normally don't like the proportions of smaller frames but yours makes it look like an old BSA of something, nice and low. :P
