My 2012 supersix. What would the best bang for the buck purchase to help drop some weight?

Things that I wont change:
-I would like to get a lighter saddle, but at the end of the day this is the only saddle I have used that has not given me problems. So no matter how much I would like to cut some significant weight with that, it wouldn't be worth it.
-I'm not a Sram fan, so even though I know Sram is lighter, I wont make the switch.
-The Wheels aren't going anywhere, so even though I could get a lighter wheelset, thats not an option financially. Love these wheels.
-My gearing wont change based on the amount of climbing I do. call me a weak, Its what works for me.

Current weight as picture (With pedals, garmin mount and garmin 500):15.2lbs

Build list:
superlogic bars (190g)
c260 wet black stem 90mm (100g)
WCS carbon UD zero offset/Cut (156g)
kcnc Ti skewers (42g)
Aerozine seatpost clamp (9g)
Aerozine chainring bolts (2g/each)
Aerozine ti cage bolts (1g/bolt)
Exustar pro carbon Ti pedals (176g+70g = 246g)
Planet X CNC brakes (193g)
New CDale expander (13g)
Fizik gloss black bar tape (Cut 6 inches off each side, total 57g)
Chinese carbon cages (19g/each)

Unknown weight:
Shimano shift/brake cables
Shimano 6700 shifter
Shimano 6700 RD with stock pulley's
Shimano 7900 Clamp on FD
Shimano 6700 Cassette 12-28
ENVE 45 carbon clinchers 20/24 with CKR45 hubs
veloplugs
C'Dale SL Hollowgram crankset
Praxis 52/36 chainring
Specialized Ultra light tubes
Continental GP4000s 700x23mm tires
Specialized Romin Evo pro 143mm carbon rail

First thing that comes to my mind would be getting a Dura Ace cassette. How is the performance on some of the lighter options like KCNC or Recon? I know there are lighter tires as well, but the GP4000's have done me very well.

Dura ace cassette seems like such an incredible waste of money compared to Ultegra. Recon cassettes worked great for me (Campagnolo 10 speed), but I've heard plenty of other people have trouble getting them to shift right. Mine tended to last around a season of riding which isn't bad for them but then I never mash a shift. Mine was 140g for 11-29; crazy light.

Oh and nice bike by the way.

Segmented housing and dura ace rd would save some grams.

I would recommend DA RD and Shifters, SRAM XG-1090 cassette (best balance of weight and durability in my opinion).

If you really want to drop some weight, go low profile carbon tubular wheelset (ENVE 1.25 or similar)
Firefly Ti Road Disc
Firefly Ti Gravel Disc
Rock Lobster Team Tig SL Disc
Santa Cruz Blur 2019
Gaulzetti Cabron Disc (Retired to the Kickr after an accident)

when you wear out your tape you could save a few grams with lizard skins dsp 1.8...

Bungarus could save you about 70g (http://fairwheelbikes.com/aican-bungaru ... -5282.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), then as mentioned DA rear derailleur & shifters. The shifters are a good bit lighter than Ultegra. Also agree with the SRAM cassette, and maybe a KMC x10SL chain when your current gear wears out?

Other than that, you'd be looking at swapping out perfectly good stuff like cockpit components to chase a few extra grams, at a very high g/$ ratio.

Once you make the switch to full DA you'll be rockin' - it's already a sweet ride.

And here's some of the weights you are missing:

Ultegra RD - 188g
Ultegra Shifters - 473g (I don't think I weighed them with the cables in, but I may have)
Ultegra cassette (for my 12-25) - 233g

Looks great the way it is, you have all the good stuff that works and trusting that you can hammer is worth the few grams that you are looking for.

Are those still Sugar Wheels?

Thanks man. Yup, the wheels are still running strong! Took them into her 3 months ago for a quick servicing but they were still true and were in no need.

DA levers, recon cassette and DA rear mech would do you well.

I guess what people are thinking is it's a lovely bike and nothing jumps out as needing to be changed. Sometimes a bike just settles into a nice configuration and all you have to do is ride it. If you're itching for a project you may need to start another bike...

I'll do some research on my own, but anyone have feedback on recon cassettes? Is the performance or smoothness in shifting going to be dramatically worse/different?

I've run a recon cassette before. Shifting wasn't hugely different, but they wore more quickly. Routine maintenance becomes key, wiping and re-lubing your chain will help make them last longer. Mine lasted a season, with shifting degrading towards the end.

One note... you could change the ENVE stickers to black, just my opinion. I am sure that black is lighter
