Fantastic set-up! I love the SL4 in this colour scheme, the cranks, everything is put together really nicely. I would love to ride that bike!
With the LWs you have it would look great, too. In terms of stem, if you are still searching, the 3T Arx LTD could also work well (am pretty happy with it)

So for aggressive riding/racing would you choose the SL4 over the C59 - does it feel much better under acceleration while climbing?

Hopefully you learned a lesson not to judge a bike by the people you may or may not like, riding it. It kept you off the best bike on the planet far too long
