Hey Guys,

Spent quite a bit of time on this beauty and wrote a short recap of the bike on the site with a few added photos.
SRAM Red and ENVE cockpits on both.
Weight was 16 on the nose in the first build.
GREAT bike for almost everything short of crit racing.
Sits closer to comfy/stable than stiff/twitchy but for most non-race conditions it is a fantastic combination.

Here were the two builds...

ENVE Smart 3.4 tubulars, Continental Gatorskin 25 tires, ENVE post, Selle Italia Superflow, Speedplay Zero stainless, for my dad:
Image

Xentis Squad 5.8 12K tubulars, Challenge Strada 25 tires, Tune post, Tune Kom Vor Plus, Mavic SLR Ti, as I rode her:

Questions, feel free!
Mike

I almost bought one of these frames but went with a different Ti builder - no disrespect towards No. 22; just got a hook-up. I love the anodized blue frame that you have! What size are you riding? Did you weigh the frame?

I really like what No.22 are doing these days! The new Reactor frame looks fabulous. They told me that a 54cm Great Divide is approximately 1540 grams.

Very nice. I spent some time at the No. 22 booth at NAHBS. Beautiful work.

Spartan,

We offer a BSA threaded bottom bracket shell as a no cost option for those that prefer. No need to write the bike off if you favour a bottom bracket shell with threads.

Beautiful bike. Is the first one green anodized or is that a lighting / photography thing?

PF30 is less troublemaker from all pressed BB … NEVER had creaking. But used only Rotor BB and only on grease.

But BSA/ITA is NOT troublemaker at all ;)

Saw this frame at a LBS recently. The finish is absolutely stunning in person. The welds are ridiculously nice. Then the shop owner informed me that their welder is an ex-Serotta man. No wonder.. IMO, the quality of their frames is on par with Moots but at a significantly lower price point.

Hey guys!
- One bike in both photos...they are now offering custom anodization however, like this one:
https://instagram.com/p/05zUkERrzo/?tak ... smithcycle
- Workmanship is great for the money. Scott is indeed an "ex-Serotta man" but there is more to the quality than even that can explain.
- They can do any BB, but most customers on the Great Divide opt for PF30 for stiffness...the Broken Arrow, which is designed to get dirtier, features a BSA BB. And I agree with stormur that the new more robust PF BB's have basically solved the creaking problem.
- Glad you liked the bike, and stop by to see it in person if you are in Toronto.

Best,
Mike
